silver. disappointed? yepp. surprised? not really.

ganbatte everyone. 7 days. can we stop all this and just be sincerely nice to one another, pour our heart and soul in to practicing and aim for that state of perfection despite th fact that it may need more than a miracle for that? maybe two, three. idk.

):sadded. true, we can still meet up after syf, and still go for runs or dinners or lunches, but it'll be different. cause we will no longer be rushing for band or emoing after practice. imagine that? no more being rushed for band by mummy. no more emoing after a really bad day of combines. no more seeing the faces of the people you cant stand or have something against. wonderful, innit?

back then, i really dread th day where we will all have to pray as a section so that we can play. somehow, that day seem so close. but nonetheless, i have faith, and i have passion. in all of us.

in the section, i trust.

hahas. i was so beat during school today. i slept during chem, i slept during maths. i was so hungry during tutee sectionals but yehh, hahahs, i saw something which kinda kept me going. lols, wth. anyways, yepp thats th poem that i randomly crafted during my break period and ended up sending it to mr hing for the sms poetry competition and it won lols(:

this is why you should have an intent when you write this kind of stuff. it adds more meaning and life to it.

death comes to all things, be it tangible or abstract. we've just got to face that fact(:

sleepover in school was crazy. band practice before that was okay, even though it was almost a whole day thing. took lots of pictures hahs. jy went around kissing random trumpeters, yehhs, and ended up kissing someone else on the lips. nahh, there wasnt any tongue action though=P
we were sharing ghost stories till like 3 plus in th morning when we were supposed to be doing hw. but wth, everyone slept till seven plus and we had breakfast after that.

i reached home and pigged till six. which means another sleepless night just to complete all th homework i have to do by tmr morning. awesome.

at this point, i really cannot imagine life without band. wednesday and friday evenings will suddenly be so empty. and there's th section. to think that only evonne was so enthusiastic about th japan trip, and th rest of us were still considering. but in th end, all of us went and we really had so much fun together=) then there were the prctices before th trip itself; our first time getting chased out from combined (big band, hahs), all th sectionals we willingly did back then, all th section dinners on friday night, section sleep at th gallery, section emo session at macs and kfc.

needless to say weve been through alot together, to th point that sometimes, we just have to see each other everyday. so, thank you for all th great times we had and many apologies.

we'll pull through this wont we? it just another 9 days. and then it'll be 8, 7, 6 and no more days left. yet, we still have so much to accomplish together. promise we'll still be thr for one another like how we've always had, even when thr's no more band. cause we're more than just a section=)

post-band activities are a loves.

it was really fun and crazyyy to suddenly crash tbe cymbals or play the piano when people are so intently listening to ghost stories in th band room in the dark=) but its no so fun anymore when youve just listened to a song excerpt from a horror movie in the dark and someone knocks on the windowpane and you think it came from the store room, and you think theres someone out there whos trying to get out.

i think being really afraid is a very psychological thing, and the supposed 'ghosts or demonic apparitions' kinda feed on our fears.

12 more dayyyyyyyyys. after which i dont know how life would be like. right okay maybe i do. itll be all time mugging and cupping and flasking and glassing. for the As. hurs. but at least i have other forms of incentives to look forward to in school, besides band.

right. whole day in school tmr. run in th morning, band in th day, stayover in school at night!! wooots((((:

life is too short to be disappointed and sad all the time=) sooooo, let that disappointment overwhelm us for a while, let us weep in the grief and let us pour out all our sadness.

after that, we pull ourselves up and face the world as we did before.

hahas, with all the recent developments in the housing area (Tampines 1, the proposed MRT line coming soon, all the lift upgrading thingy), there seems to be the negative externality that comes along with it. my void deck is becoming like the axis of all things evil hahas, attracting all kinds of stuff, like there was a police case earlier regarding drugs (I think) and the students from the school in front. then, just now, when I reachd home, the uncle from the 1st floor house was shouting and swearing, yepp, profanities and vulgarities at a group of stoopid matreps and minahs who were obviously showing off their promicuity for all to see. it wasnt th first time, theyve been engaging in kisses and stuff ever since, and the uncle has been giving them warning, but apparently, they were nonchalant. hahas. soo, the police came and yehh.

most probably, after this, theyre gonna install security guards or policemen to patrol my neighborhood. awesome.

but that didnt stop me from coercing my mum to follow me to tampines1 and get the very last waffle cone from yamakawa. and its $6.20!! daylight robbery, but heck ahh. yepppps, i LOVE yamakawa!! hahas. i just hope theyy bring in the strawberry milk tea from japan in december=))))

I didnt get to donate blood at this year's blood drive. All because I had to fall sick on the two days it was being held. Boo=( But I did get to be the mascot on Tuesday hahahs.

The medication is making me drowsy, like as if I'm all drunk and drugged, which renders me helpless to do anything fruitful or productive, such as homework or revision, and yes, I mean REVISION. Cause I am so behind everything and lagging in studies I can feel the pressure and stress which is causing me to fall sick in the first place. And there's SYF on top of that=X

I see quite alot of people stepping down from their CCAs to retire for the As. I dread and hope for that day to come. While it clearly means I have the liberty of focusing 100% on my studies, it also mean that the one thing that is distracting me from everything else has been robbed of me. No more sectionals to look forward to, no more combines to worry for, no more section outings to enjoy, no more section runs to avoid& no more solos and pieces to practice hard for.

Once that freaking last note is played on the 6th May, it would be a symbolic impression for the end of my time in MJCSB for that period. Sadded.

Which means the last 18 days must be used to its fullest potential(:

Holy crap. I cant stop eating. Like seriously, seriously cannot stay away from food=x Help!!

Anyways, overdued updates. The JB trip was fabulous!! Too bad the rest didnt take much photos, or as much as I did. If I had brought my own cam, I would be like taking photos every minute hahahs., But it was really enriching, learned new stuff, tried making my own thread from pineapple leaves. The owner of the homestay programme place looks like my late grandfather(:

I brought like 11 packets of crackers hahas. And in the bus we were karaoke-ing throughout, shouting 'TAK TAHU' at the top of our voices at songs that were foreign, and watching Lantai 13. It was a really coooool experience.

halfway throughout the trip, i suddenly had this longing hahas.

SYF's coming soon!! The prospect of being able to see ` in school everyday provides the drive to endure the whole day=)

anyways, GIVE BLOOD, SAVE LIVES(: Im gonna be doing it too, I guess, besides being the mascot. which means, more pictchas! hahas

Chase of the blue dove.

Yes, I do watch Korean dramas like Boys over Flower and A Love to Kill on KBS. Despite the fact that the television should be the very last thing I turn to in preparations for As. And there's AF7(: Hahas, prettyyy. But not as pretty pretty as (: hahas.

Block tests results are depressingkind of expected, I deserved them, for not putting in enough effort. And I know Im kinda screwed right now, be it studies or band.

Accompanied Khai to Queenstown, with Rika, to get gloves. It was really a good way to get to know each other more lols.

I didnt go school today=X which sucks, cause I miss alot.

Im currently watching this documentary on KBS on an arts college in Korea, Korean National University of Arts where all the gifted kids enter. They featured all the different art froms; theatre, instruments, choral and dance. And its very impressive, seeing how some of them are as young as 17, and they are really passionate about what they do, be it musicals, dancing or even playing music. They put their heart and soul into practicing and improving their crafts.

Like, there was this saxophone guy who actually held his own solo concert so that others would be encouraged to follow his lead and have the courage to perform in public. Their drama class had one lesson where they teacher threw thumbtacks onto the floor and the whole class was supposed to find and collect all 51 thumbtacks again. The lesson of the day was that to them, acting is looking for something small.

I think it applies for everything that we do. We must always treat it as looking for something small, something that is subtle and not that obvious. It all takes a little focus, determination, preserverence and a whole damn lot of passion.

These are the kind of people that are willing to bleed because of their passion and love for something. They have my total admiration.

If only I can be like them,
